The role of the Physical Therapist is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient/family physical therapy needs for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years); maintains documentation on patient treatments. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, assess, plan, and implement treatment according to the findings. Addresses educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and departmental operations; acts in a clinical leadership role; applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties as needed.

These duties shall vary as to the department for which you have applied, but SHALL NOT exceed those constraints placed upon you by the State of Kentucky Physical Therapy Practice Act. Additional job functions listed may vary from Rehab Departments, due to volume and specific center needs and not all staff will be trained to perform these skills.
Required: Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate Degree with graduation from an accredited physical therapy program. Must hold a current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Kentucky. CPR, Entry Level experience, Computer skills; Desired: One year of physical therapy experience.
